Despite how some may feel about Ronaldo he is one of the greatest payers that has ever graced the pitch and his work at Real Madrid proves that. Sure the team was not winning the league but they were winning other smaller cups and most of the time it was the Champions League they captured. During his time Los Blancos and Ronaldo along with Zidane were able to successfully capture three straight Champions League titles (2015-2018). These wins were against some very tough clubs but Ronaldo and Madrid were able to put away Atletico Madrid Twice and then Juventus and Liverpool for the three-peat.  What has Cemented Ronaldo as a Real legend was his memorable trophies he captured but it was the groundbreaking goals and in the toughest of moments he would will his team through his phenomenal goal-scoring ability, In my opinion, he is the greatest player to ever wear a shirt for the club. Ronaldo brought 9 magical years that people did not see coming from the Portuguese player but he provided greatness and more.  Ronaldo made El Clasico a must-see event as he squared off against his long-time rival Lionel Messi who plays for the opposing Barcelona team.

Real Madrid Post-Ronaldo

There were many questions surrounding the Madrid squad and how they would favor not just in European competition but in their own league against the domestic competition.  After a bitter and disappointing season, it was evident that the Galacticos were in need of looking into the future and acquire big stars on the squad.  Real Madrid lost the league to their rivals by almost a 20 point gap and was 3rd in the league with Atletico Madrid scraping out more points withdraws.  The club was only able to win the Fifa World Cup as the only silverware they won during the season. Reaching as far as the Round of 16 in the Champions League before getting knocked out by the young team on fire from the Netherlands. Ajax would end up knocking out Real Madrid in the round of 16 with an aggregate score of 5-3.

In conclusion, Ronaldo is by far one of the greatest Madrid legends that has played the game and CR7 has forever left his mark in the heart of all Real Madrid fans. A legacy with unquestionable greatness and hundreds of memories that will forever be in the hearts of the city and another legend to wear the Madrid Crest on their jersey and honor it with greatness.
